    ACH Geofoam Protects a Warehouse in Wisconsin from the Earth and the Sky
    How to cost-efffectively nestle a building into a hillside was a problem facing Peter Sherrer, owner of PSG, a Wisconsin based firm specializing in real estate and construction.  The building in questions was a new 55,000 squre foot office and distribution center for Wisconsin Vision Associated of Burlington.  Early design investigations into different structural engineering systems suggested the possibility of using Foam-Control® EPS Geofoam.

    Home Grown Success
    Cost, quality, and long-term performance were key variables of material selection for the Badger State Fruit Processing plant expansion.  Foam-Control PLUS+ architectural EPS insulation provided all three key elements.  Unlike other roof insulations, the R-Value of EPS remains the same over time.  The NRCA recently released an updated recommendation for designers to use R-5 per inch of thickness in all climate conditions for polyiso insulation when evaluating actual in-service R-values.
