Tongue & Groove EPS Sheathing

Unfaced Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)

Tongue and groove EPS sheathing, also known as T&G, is used as a substrate for stucco in conventional and manufactured housing. Up to half of a building’s heat is lost through un-insulated walls; combined that fact with rising energy costs, and it's easy to see why it's become crucial to properly insulate a home. Proper air sealing and insulation can save up to 30% on heating and cooling costs.

T&G sheathing stabilizes temperatures inside the home, creating a more comfortable living environment and reducing energy bills. ACH Foam Technologies’ innovative EPS manufacturing technology produces T&G sheathing with high R-Values that do not fluctuate over time.

The structure of T&G expanded polystyrene (EPS) provides superior moisture resistance and durability. Tongue and groove joints create a seamless surface to apply stucco, resulting in a smooth finish. The tongue and groove joints also absorb building movement to reduce cracking on stucco walls, maintaining the beauty of the finish for a longer period of time.

ACH Foam Technologies' T&G sheathing is available in 1” thicknesses in 2’ x 8’ or 4’ x 8’ sheets, and it comes with a 50-year thermal warranty.

Tongue and Groove EPS sheathing is recyclable and environmentally friendly. It contains no CFCs, HFCs, HCFCs or formaldehyde.
