Less Bracing:
The TF System requires minimal bracing on the outside corners only. NO 2x4's nailed to footing, NO uprights every 4 to 8 feet, NO walers, and NO ladder bracing at top.
No Accessory Braces or Gadgets to Rent or Buy:
We use only onsite lumber and scrap 2x4's for corners.
Fewer Splice Cuts:
The TF System has only one splice cut per wall. Start at the first corner and work your way around, leaving one odd size splice. Simply rip the Polystyrene Panels to the width needed, cut a groove, then slide the panels in place. NO cutting through wires, metal, or plastic. NO staggering joints or lining up special notches or ties before cutting pieces. Much less waste with splice pieces of under 3" that will work.
Work From Ground Floor:
The TF System's patented vertically-oriented design allows you to build walls up to 12' high without the use of scaffolding. No climbing up and down ladders to install polystyrene blocks or plastic cross-ties.
Slide up Panels:
The TF System is the only system that allows you access to the inside wall cavity. Simply slide any panels up to expose the wall cavity for installing or tying rods, running electrical conduit, retrieving dropped tools, and cleaning snow or debris which falls before pouring from the footing. NO worrying about forgotten reinforcing. NO problems with building inspectors looking inside.
Forming with Integral Strength:
Because of the vertical design, the TF System makes it easier to keep walls straight, with NO vertical bowing, NO floating parts, and NO shaky walls.
Continuous Metal Banding Around the Top:
The TF System's top cap provides you with a continuous banding around the top that is fastened together. This unique design prevents the length of the wall from growing, provides a nice level surface for finishing off the top and allows for adjustment of uneven footings.
Solid Polystyrene Face:
With no exposed stud you can damp proof or stucco right over the face without worrying about covering plastic, metal or wire ties.
No Shipping or Storing Air:
The TF System stacks the panels and studs tightly together.
4, 6, 8, 10, 12, all the way to 24-inch Widths Available:
Any wall height from 16 inches to 12 feet is available. NO problems with odd wall heights such as 8' 4" or 11' 9 1/2".
