    Inspired by Nature

    Dynamic in its ability to be precisely shaped, light-weight enough to be safety suspended above the public, and large enough to accomplish the life-like scale of mega animals cost effectively – sculptor Stephen Kesler’s medium of choice for marine replicas at the Living Planet Acquarium in Draper, Utah is expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, manufactured just a few miles from his studio by ACH Foam Technologies.

    Home Grown Success

    Cost, quality, and long-term performance were key variables of material selection for the Badger State Fruit Processing plant expansion.  Foam-Control PLUS+ architectural EPS insulation provided all three key elements.  Unlike other roof insulations, the R-Value of EPS remains the same over time.  The NRCA recently released an updated recommendation for designers to use R-5 per inch of thickness in all climate conditions for polyiso insulation when evaluating actual in-service R-values.
