Holiday Greetings & 2011 Update from the CEO

By: Ted Dann, President & CEO

However one characterizes the season we are in – in my mind the Christmas Season – it is natural and healthy for each of us to pause and reflect on what has occurred in our worlds this year, always with a view to improving ourselves and our performance in the upcoming year. A good honest assessment of our strengths and successes is as important as a hard look at our weaknesses and failures. How can we improve if we don’t know where we need to improve.

I am happy to report, thankfully, that ACH Foam has experienced more successes than failures in 2011:

  • Our collective health and safety in our working environment has been good.
  • Sales have increased, costs have for the most part behaved, and we have essentially achieved most of our financial goals and objectives for the year.
  • We are a stronger company this year than last.

Organizationally ACH Foam feels better about the prospects for 2012 than we did for 2011, or for several years before. We recognize that our better feelings will only turn into continued success if we continue to work hard and focus on our 2012 goals and objectives, with a generous dose of continuous organizational and process improvement.

Even though there will be no fancy motorcar under the ACH Foam Christmas Tree this year – we do stand by “The relentless pursuit of perfection” sentiment.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all of our customers, friends, colleagues and partners in commerce.
