EPS FAQs
EPS (expanded polystyrene insulation) is used for all types of construction, packaging and OEM applications. EPS has a 35-year history of proven performance.
Thermal Performance
Cost-effective thermal design is among the highest priorities in construction and thermal resistance (R-value) of an insulation assembly is the determining factor in thermal performance. EPS provides optimum cost value when compared to other rigid insulations of the same R-value design.
Strength Characteristics
EPS insulation products are available in a range of densities necessary to provide both structural integrity and cost effectiveness. Other rigid insulation products fail to provide this design flexibility due to limited density availability, and therefore they also cost more.
Environmental Advantages of EPS Insulation
Inert, Non-Nutritive, Highly Stable
Contains no CFCs, HCFCs or HFCs
Contains no Formaldehyde
Can be Recycled
